Job Description :
We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our project team at the block level under the Central Sector Scheme for the formation and promotion of 10,000 FPOs across India. This position is purely contractual and not an on-roll engagement with Sesta Development Services (SDS).
Your Role and Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and promotion of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) within the assigned block.

Work closely with farmers and producers to enhance agricultural practices and marketing strategies.

Implement project activities as per the guidelines provided under the Central Sector Scheme.

Facilitate training programs and workshops for farmers on best practices, financial management, and market linkages.

Coordinate with local stakeholders, government bodies, and other relevant organizations to ensure the successful implementation of the project.

Monitor and report on the progress of the FPOs and provide feedback to the CBBO.

Ensure compliance with all project-related documentation and reporting requirements.
Education Qualification: Minimum Bachelors Degree in Agriculture/Management/any other graduation with relevant experience in the development sector
Experience Required: Minimum two years of experience
Other requirement:

Actively promote agricultural practices and other primary production activities among farmers in the assigned area. This includes introducing innovative farming techniques, sustainable practices, and new crop varieties.

Identify and mobilize potential farmers within the community who can benefit from the formation of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs). Work to build trust and encourage participation in the project.

Promote and support the development of agri-business initiatives within the region. This involves helping farmers access markets, improve product quality, and explore value-added opportunities.

Engage with local communities to create awareness about the benefits of FPOs and the available support under the Central Sector Scheme.

Collaborate with local authorities, agricultural experts, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of project activities.

Regularly monitor the progress of promoted activities and provide detailed reports to the project team, ensuring that the project’s objectives are being met.

Be adaptable to changing project needs and flexible in approach to achieve the desired outcomes.
Compensation: Rs.25000 per month (Fixed)
